American Exceptionalism is an Unconnected Political Action Committee registered with the FEC dedicated to utilizing the Boycott to promote the economic interests of individual Americans. We do not seek to make China our enemy. Instead, we seek to engage them as trade partners and friends. But only if they will trade fairly with us, and demonstrate a true desire towards friendship, as they might say. Only then can we be sure that we are not nursing a growing threat to our future prosperity. In order to effect the Chinese government to cooperate on key issues, it is necessary for the people of the United States to demonstrate their deep dissatisfaction with the current state of affairs. The current state includes corruptions from China's influence upon everything from our private companies, captured public agencies, to toys, and honey. Without a credible, organized, political threat within the United States-- a threat that may only be mounted from a grassroots campaign, as no organized business would take an interest in promoting a frank discussion with China--the behavior of the Chinese government towards the US consumer as well as our institutions will not change. Certainly there is the risk of inflaming tensions, however it is better for us to pick the moment to initiate these frank discussions about the future paths of our two countries, than to wait for resentment to build further, and for the balance of power to tilt too far.

We will be negotiating with US manufacturers on your behalf.

MISSION: Common Sense. We support candidates in federal elections who meet the following criteria.

1) Advocate production and distribution of US goods.

2) Stand up to Chinese manipulation of our trade policies.

3) Stand against multi-national misinformation.

4) Stand for the interests of individual Americans.

CALL TO ACTION

1) As individual Americans, we have the power to control our own economic fates, rather than relying on the actions of a distant government with interests that do not necessarily align with our won.

2) Boycott as many Chinese made good as possible to place pressure on US and Chinese policy makers while reinvigorating our own and our neighbor's pocketbooks.

3) Spread the message and stop the bankruptcy of our Nation's finances.

The time has arrived for the American people to stand up as individuals against a foreign power, China, which has encroached upon our precious freedoms. China has lured us with its promises of fair trade and mutual partnership. However, in times of crisis, those who are our friends become clearly separated from those who are not. China is certainly not our friend.

Perhaps China has delivered to us a plethora of cheap goods. Perhaps China has so generously lent to our spendthrift government all the money it has reaped from US. Perhaps with our help, they have even lifted more people out of poverty in a shorter period of time than ever.

However, these benefits come with cost. Have you ever wondered why your stuff has been breaking more often than it used to? Have you had a rash break out from gloves you've bought, or tasted something funny in your food? And the cost of lifting millions of Chinese out of poverty, has been paid by the deepening of poverty in other countries, including our own, United States of America.

The longer the current arrangement between the so-called "Chimerica," a seemingly inseperable synthesis of the two countries, the true costs of this arrangement will become ever more clear. China enjoys free trade with the United States in many goods, as well as the full rights of a WTO member, without extending the same rights to us. China does not protect intellectual property, one of the US's sole exports. China enacts restrictions upon foreign companies, while controlling key sectors of the economy. It exercises arbitrary rule, but because of the size of its economy, the size of the US government debt to the Chinese Communist Party, and the insatiable appetite of American Multi-nationals for poorly made, but cheap Chinese goods, no one will stand up to the Communist government of China.

If our institutions: our Treasury, Our Chamber of Commerce, Our Goldman, Our Elmer's, Our Kellogs, Our GE, Our AIG, and Our Microsoft will not stand up to the totalitarian, Communist, Corrupt government which will rise as the sole competitor to our Nation, then only we, individuals Americans can do what is right.

We seek only fair play from our Chinese counterparts. We have a tradition of settling disputes with adversaries in a civil manner. The boycott has long been part of our arsenal to fight tyranny without bloodshed. So let us fight. And demonstrate to the world that a democracy aroused is far more potent than any mythological dragon.

Help us raise awareness of this issue by getting involved, donating money, and leaving your thoughts. Together, we can convince Americans to overturn tyranny without the help of our government. We can fight tyranny both here and abroad, just as we did during the Revolution: with our dollars and sense.
